Dr. Thairl Lee Richardson is the sixth and youngest son that born to Reverend Earl Richardson and Celeste Richardson on the Day of Praise, June 13, 1958. Rev. Richardson grew up in Washington, Texas and attended school in Brenham Texas.
Rev. Richardson received preliminary spiritual guidance from Bishop C.E. Richardson, son of the 1st Street Emmanuel Baptist Church in Freeport, Texas. After years of faithful service to the ministry and diligence in advancing the Kingdom of God, Rev. Richardson stepped into God’s calling for his life and was licensed and ordained to preach the word by Bishop C.E. Richardson on July 18, 1984. Rev. Richardson furthered his education at Covington Theological Seminary in Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia, graduating with Cum Loude honors and earning a doctrine degree in religion and Christian counseling.
Dr. Richardson was divinely favored to marry a devout woman of God, Helen J. Richardson. They have been happily married for 32 years. They are grateful for their children, son Gary and daughter Michell.
Dr. T. L. Richardson has been blessed to be the 3rd presiding Pastor of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, proudly serving as Shepard for a tenure of 28 years. Through his melodic singing and explosive anointed preaching style, he gained the handle of Dr. “Thunder and Lightning” Richardson. He has graced several churches along the Gulf Coast region including many other locations. Becoming the 1st President of Matagorda County Minister Alliance and Vice President of Body of Christ Believers.
